Robert Wakulat

greenTbiz Program Manager

Rob comes to greenTbiz while in the midst of building his solo law practice (Wakulat|Law). He has spent the last couple of years advising on the legal issues facing smaller businesses, community groups and individuals who are engaged in green energy projects. He is particularly excited by the pootential of ZooShare, which intends to take Toronto Zoo poo and turn it into biogas electricity.

Rob was practically born and raised in a BIA as his father was the long-time proprietor of Pollocks Home Hardware in the Roncesvalles BIA. Rob learned how to efficiently repackage nails and sell fertilizer to the friendly local residents. He also absorbed a lot of information about BIAs through the osmosis of his dad’s participation in both the local BIA and TABIA.

Rob graduated from Queen’s University with an honours degree in Commerce and a Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto. In his spare time he is an amateur beer drinker, dropping Frisbees on the Ultimate pitch and is actively fighting an addiction to Japanese food.
