GreenTbiz is committed to cultivating a diverse ecosystem of organizations enthusiastically committed to supporting the mission of greenTbiz. The directories below are intended to assist BIAs, BIA business owners and Toronto residents in discovering their friendly local green champions. Featured Partners have been specially chosen by the greenTbiz team for their demonstrated commitment to nurturing greenTbiz, BIAs or their members. These suppliers are highlighted on the greenTbiz home page and listed in the directory below.  

Green BIA businesses are those businesses located within Toronto’s 72 BIAs who are at the leading edge of providing residents with sustainable shopping options. They are the neighbourhood cafe, the butcher shoppe offering organic and naturally-raised meat; the locavore-inspired restaurant and many more! 

BIA Service Providers and Friends of greenTbiz list organizations who understand the value of Main Street shopping and want to work closely with the City’s BIAs to make them even more welcoming for shoppers, festival-goers and residents out on a stroll.  Service Providers typically supply sustainable products and services to BIAs who are then able to green their communities. This includes suppliers of LED lighting, solar technology and street amenities.  Friends of greenTbiz are organizations that have had or continue to have a collaborative relationship with greenTbiz and share the objective of reducing the environmental impact of our neighbourhoods and communities.
